Motivação dos professores de educação física para atuarem no ambiente escolar

Abstract

Introdução: A motivação é fundamental para a profissão docente, tanto no seu processo de formação quanto no seu desempenho profissional, podendo interferir no mesmo, influenciando a dinâmica de sua autodeterminação, expectativas e percepção de eficácia e consecução de objetivos pessoais. Objetivo: Verificar junto aos professores de Educação Física o nível de motivação para atuar no ambiente escolar. Material e Métodos: O presente estudo foi desenvolvido por meio de uma pesquisa de natureza exploratória, transversal, de coleta única, por meio da aplicação de questionários, contendo questões abertas e fechadas, em uma amostra composta por 17 professores de Educação Física de ambos os sexos, que estão em exercício no magistério há mais de dez anos, de duas escolas da Rede Pública de ensino da Secretaria de Educação do Distrito Federal. Os dados coletados foram analisados por meio do programa estatístico Microsoft Office Excel versão 2013.Resultados: O presente estudo verificou que 29% dos professores sentem-se motivados, ressaltando sua satisfação pessoal e amor à profissão, enquanto 29,% citaram o compromisso com o desenvolvimento integral do aluno e promoção de sua saúde; 24,%, o fato de contribuírem na formação pessoal, social, psicológica e motora dos alunos. Considerações Finais: De acordo com os resultados apresentados, podemos observar que os professores envolvidos na pesquisa se mostraram motivados e satisfeitos para trabalhar no ambiente escolar, mesmo apresentando alguns fatores desmotivadores como a falta de material e estrutura adequados, e a baixa remuneração. Observamos a necessidade de aprofundar estudos sobre a motivação dos professores de Educação Física, pois verifica-se que esse fator é importante para que os mesmos possam desenvolver sua proposta pedagógica comprometida com o sucesso do processo ensino- aprendizagem.

Introduction: Motivation is fundamental to the teaching profession, both in the process of training and in their professional performance and can interfere with the same, influencing the dynamics of self-determination, expectations and perceptions of effectiveness and achieving personal goals. Objective: Check with the Physical Education teachers the level of motivation of teachers who work in the school environment. Material and Methods: This study was developed through an exploratory research, cross, single collection, through questionnaires, with open and closed questions in a sample of 17 physical education teachers from both sexes, who are acting in the teaching profession for more than ten years in two schools from the Department of Education Public Education Network of the Federal District. Data were analyzed using the statistical program Microsoft Office Excel 2013 version. Results: This study found that 29% of teachers feel motivated, emphasizing personal satisfaction and love for the profession, while 29% cited the commitment to the integral development of the student and promotion of their health; 24%, the fact contribute in personal training, social, psychological and motor of the students; 12%, the opportunity to motivate students to practice sport and 6%, achieve planning goals. Conclusions: According to the results presented, we can see that the teachers involved in the research were motivated and happy to work in the school environment, even with some demotivating factors such as lack of adequate materials and structure, and low pay. We note the need for further studies on the motivation of teachers of Physical Education, since it appears that this factor is important so that they can develop their pedagogical proposal committed to the success of the teaching-learning process.
